Actually, backpack.tf lists it at 8 refined metal. Probably outdated, but to be honest, the duck journal is an action item that shows up on your model as a badge, customizable, and is a reminder of a silly update that you may have taken part in, depends on your outlook on the update at least. But as an item? Useless, except for trading, which is 8 ref as listed from backpack.tf, which is probably NOT what you can get for it....

huh, well I guess I got screwed, but the journal's really worthless? My friend put about $20 into his...

It being available for a small amount of time doesn't justify it to be expensive.

Like all things, it's worth what somebody will pay for it, regardless of any actual value (See "Star Wars Collectibles").

It was worth about 1.1 keys a month ago, now it's 8 ref, listings at 6, and still dropping, theres a chance, but a SMALL one.

In reality you did not get scammed, crates are next to worthless, unless of course you traded salvage crates or a select reserve crate, which are the few that are actually worth alot, so in reality you likely made a profit.

I'm curious what you mean by max upgraded. You mean level 20-21? Quackston's Own?
Or do you mean higher, like level 99-100? Because with just 3 tokens I easily reached Quackston's Own and casually kept collecting ducks, ending up at level 33 before the event stopped. If it's actually level 100, then it might be worth something to a collector?
