I want your TF2 hot takes. Whether it is game balance or explosives being too explosive. *why would someone ask that, OH GOD THAT'S EVERY ANSWER NOW ISN'T???*

Spy takes no skill (Idk if this is a hot take, he's just easy in my opinion)
Pyro has a low entry but high skill ceiling. He looks simple but actually takes real skill to use him to his full potential.
* Crit-a-cola is not OP when used alongside most primaries, it just enhances Scout's pre-existing strengths and weaknesses.

* The Übersaw encourages extremely risky plays from Medics, and as such i'm not interested in using it outside of MvM (that's a spicy one).

EDIT: Another one i’ve had for a good while. Unusual taunt effects are at this point more interesting than hat ones (at least the ones we’ve been getting the last few years), because most of them are actually possible to obtain without breaking the bank. Plus being able to equip up to 8 of them allows for good variety.

Explosives are too explody!
Friendlies are worse than cheaters, but that's actually a cold take.
The sandman wasn't overpowered in any way before Jungle Inferno. Simply because it utilised a form of stun mechanic, it gained thoughtless criticism despite being objectively worse to run than your standard tryhard Scout loadout - and thus its nerf was completely unjustified and only took away a unique mechanic that made the game have more variety.

Tryhard Scouts with scattergun, pistol, and MGE aim were far more unfun to play against than your average sandman Scout - who was limited by his lower healthpool in many ways.

all the "skill ceiling" thing is just pressing 3 on your keyboard. and then pressing mouse1 on your mouse, plus the "entry" is just. Shotgun. This is also coming from a soldier/engie main.

Care to elaborate? They don't have full-on Aimbot or SilentAimbot. and don't tend to ruin the fun, instead. They just give sandwiches and make people laugh by punching their back, its honestly pretty funny seing a friendly make someone laugh and the victim just spontaneously combusts (explode command), and it turns into a full killbind chain. I might be delusional but I SWEAR TO GOD. STOP SAYING POOTIS. ITS NOT FUNNY IF YOU HEAR IT FOR LIKE THE 3,000TH TIME.

The Crit-A-Cola provides minicrits but marks the attacker for death. Only for five seconds? That's like nothing if the scout knows basic movement and how to evade direct hit rockets. But splash damage can be very overpowered, which encourages spamming as soldier.

The Ubersaw. (look i cant just type the special U to my liking. I dont have the german keyboard.). And yes using the ubersaw outside of MvM may look like a bad idea. But if you catch a spy in the act, you get pretty much free Ubercharge. And yeah. You still gain uber after meleeing a scout under the effects of Bonk! Atomic Punch. And since FOR SOME REASON. IT CRITS MORE THAN STOCK. It's basically just a direct upgrade.

And? Subclasses flesh out the character and see it's true potential. Take trolldier for example. If you play enough trolldier, you're just good at rocket jumping. If you play Air Strike soldier? You're too spammy.
