I don't use the Steam version - I bought it retail years ago. Does the Steam version use Monkey Mod?

It never got any better-- I use Vista so it's probably something to do with that...

hello everyone... anyone had trouble with their Steam version of Kingpin?! I've downloaded it here as usual and there seems to be nothing wrong, but when I launch it the game crashes before even starting!!! What do I do?!
