Quick question, I am a little confused where I put “closecaption 1” and "cc_predisplay_time 0". Do I just input both lines into the in-game console or do I need to know a file route?

For ammo, there's 3: AmmoInClip, AmmoNoClip, and AmmoInReserve. Ubercharge is ChargeLabel.

To swap the background with the text, you'd need to edit the first 3 instances of HealthBG under HudHealthDyingPulse and HudHealthBonusPulse in scripts/hudanimations_7hud.txt. You would replace the HealthBG with PlayerStatusHealthValue and swap BgColor on the same line with FgColor.

To remove the killstreak counter, you could set the xpos of HudItemEffectMeter in resource/ui/huditemeffectmeter_killstreak.res to 9999.

hi, any idea how I could replace the red border when I’m low health with simply red health text (similar for ammo) and blue health text when I’m overhealed?

Hello, how are you all.

I don't know if this is the right group to bring up my "HUDS" issue.

These days I have tried several '' huds '' because I got tired of one that I had and decided to go and try another.

I did, I went to the folder and changed it, but after a while using it the game stopped.

At first I thought it was normal.

But it started to follow consecutively and I couldn't look for solutions on YouTube because I couldn't find them.

If one of you would help me, I'd really appreciate it.

Q worked like class selection, I don't know why. Wasn't anything anywhere in my config.cfg or class configs and started happening when I got this hud. At least it seems to have stopped by now.
Loving the hud by the way!

Default bind for class selection is "." You can rebind it using the console command "bind . changeteam".

Q is my melee button most of the time
Q for this HUD is class selection and sometimes it's active and sometimes not and when it is it usually messes everything up
Please how do I fix, edit, whatever this
And please don't reply "just don't use q for melee"

hi, any idea how I could change the circle that fills as you capture a point on the top of the screen to be like the smaller one on the bottom in the default hud?

I assume you got your problem solved since you deleted the discussion, but you toggle the scoreboard with the scoreboard button on the main menu.

It's TF2 that hasn't been active for awhile, not the group. You can disable the max health value in resource/ui/hudplayerhealth.res by setting the "visible" parameter under "PlayerStatusHealthMaxValue" and "PlayerStatusHealthMaxValueShadow" to 0.

Well, I prefer my viewmodels in front of me... oddly. But they get obstructive too. And turning them off, well I can't tell which weapons I'm holding. It's pretty easy to add, I did it myself. Just have it automatically turned off. People would have to turn it on manually if they want it.

Eh, I think transparent viewmodels are a very niche preference. Why not just turn viewmodels off or mess with the viewmodel_fov?

This isn't exactly a question but an idea. I was able to add transparent viewmodels myself into the HUD. But why not make it where the lines exist alread in the hudlayout.res? And the two files, the vtf and vmt? I didn't wanna start up a whole new discussion unless that's what you would like me to do to make it a vote?
