99.9 percent of players that come into our server ( AoD ) usually leave and say what a great server to be in and how much fun they have had in (AoD) but dont take my word for it pop in and see for your self and as for [bb]tank1971 our rules are not that hard to abide by if you felt hard done by why not come in and have your say ask for myself judderman or the creeper owners of AoD

you can disable the windows media sharing crap! i work as an It suport guy and thats on our pc build sheet for new builds!

I think the issues have to be with specific drivers and cards, i did a full reinstall of windows 7 and am just using the drivers out of the box plus whatever steam downloaded

Phantom/ your system sounds pritty dam good. I am only using a Intel E8400 O/C 3.60 Ghz running 2 GTX 295's quad SLI mode. With 6 Gb ram. A raid 0 config 2 x Raptor 150GB, 2 x samsung F1 2TB on a xfx 780I motherboard.
Zalman cooling, in a Cosmos ESA 1010 case. ethernet 1Gb connection. powering 3 HP LED 20" monitors spanned! I was having bad issues trying to run Black Ops. I have never had any problems with any game before. :)

I think I have cracked the problem regarding lag and stuttering, or mine anyhow!

If your using Win7 or Vista the resource monitor is the key to it all.

The processor was running extremly high 100% when the game was running, Thats along with the ram using 73% with me using 6Gb or ram it seemed a lot. After checking what was actally running I found that for some reason when running the game Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service was using 50%. I just need to find out how to stop this process from happening. At the moment I have just suspended it within the resouce monitor. curing the problem. any tips on how I can stop the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service from running without causing any new problems?

Game runs perfect on my box, (6 core AmD overclocked to 4Ghx, 4GB Corsair RAM and an ATI HD4870) No issues. Its no way near as twitchy as MW2 was so you actually have to be a bit more accurate with aiming. MW2 hopefully will die a death now like it should have done after week one.

If any of you are having problems running Black Ops. Lagging in single player or multi and you want to know how to resolve the issue. i will be in the chat room for the next 30 minutes. :)

what a crock of ♥♥♥♥....game plays like arma 2 responce wise in Mp, Sp is good but over all cod mw2 is much better. Black ops feels like a weak console port in my opinon.

Grenades feel weak both in game and sound wise.

Tthink its a much better game than the last few though, iThe single player is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ excellent!

Apart from the lag bug online at the mo my only gripe with this game is the sound, gunfire sound effects are awful and no surround! :-(

are the servers down? i cant seem to get online it just says "fetching stats"
