We tried

The current status is that I have every gameserver ready for launch and an essentially major update ready to boot, but I will not be releasing either.

My limited time recently has shown me how important life outside this box is and how little I really still care about hosting gameservers. I don't game any more so this was kind of bound to happen.

Before I promise more stuff that I will never release because I can not even motivate myself to restart a single gameserver, I am just calling it quits for the project.

I probably should have stopped trying to force myself to enjoy hosting servers again after Shoppa but oh well, we tried captain!

I am sorry to everyone who has supported this project or had any kind of hopes that I would become an active Steam user again. It's just not happening. I have a job, a girlfriend, a healthy social life and no reason to spend 5 hours a day in front of a computer like it used to be.

I am not sure if I am going to do something with clockwork.tf. I am not against turning it into some kind of gaming forum if people like that(just let me know in the announcement comments or on the forums) but I sure as hell am done with gameservers, for TF2 at least that is.

See you in hell fuckers!
Working on ClockWork again!

Apologies for my job-induced absence. Work comes first as I actually make money being an electrical engineer and ClockWork is just a hobby.

I have resumed working on ClockWork and you can expect new things soon-ish. I am currently focusing on catching up with my work at bazaar primarily as it is a much larger site and once that is done, I will start getting the things I came up with live.

Thanks for those who still believe,
~server jesus

Website fixed and revival of ClockWork!

Hi guys!
As most of you know, I am currently so busy with work(I have been for 7 weeks now), that I had no time for ClockWork at all. What recently added up was an issue with my payment method, which caused my CDN provider to cancel the service and thus the website broke as it was not able to fetch the images and scripts from our CDN any more.

I have made the move to Amazon AWS and their CloudFront CDN now. It's not only faster, we also have roughly 20 POPs more now, so people from locations with a rather slow internet may see major improvements in site speed from now on.

I realize CW is dead at the moment and I will return on 13.11, which means I will revive the project with at least one server launch and additional promotions(and of course updates and features for you guys) to get back on our feet.

I was hopeful that some loyal players would be able to keep it running in my afk time of 9 weeks, but I guess that was a rather impossible task and I should not have put this weight on your shoulders.

To a bright future,
server jesus

ip: 176.57.141.46:27015

For some reason no notification will pop up from the event itself. Maybe it's glitching because I moved it up by an hour. So just making an announcement here.

I'm actually there for a little while. Join while it's hot!

Regarding Events

As you may have noticed, we will now regularly be hosting events and get-togethers. There is one event type that has not been seen: "Inu's ClockWork Madness" or ICW.

What is so special about this one? It only lasts for a certain time, for example 2 hours. Whoever has scored the most points over this 2 hour period will get the prize(admins may not participate, sorry Solid!).

The prize system is simple. The first victory in an ICW event grants you a badge on the forum representing that you have won on the event on a specific server(eg. "Badwater Veteran"). Once you have a badge and win again on the same server, you will be met by a surprise reward and yes, these stack. The more ICW's you win on the same server, the better your reward gets!

When do these events happen?
At random and they are hosted by myself only. Just stay tuned and check our website frequently to get some pointers as to when the next ICW may happen.

~server jesus
