You did too much damage to your teammates.

I feel like Valve may wanna do something about this but i have no idea what. I jump into a game of competitive and as usual when the game starts i ask if they can speak English which they could (thank god). The game progressed as usual and we started to lose going 1-6 by the time I was kicked.

Everytime I used an incendiary grenade this guy would walk into it and purposely stand in it. At first I thought he was just being silly but after about the 3rd-4th time doing it I was kicked for, as stated above, doing to much damage to my teammates. Is this some kind of sick joke?

TL;DR: Used incendiary grenades, teammate stood in them on purpose, I got kicked for it.
-------------------------------

This is the second time I have been banned for this reason. CS:GO bans you if you kill three players in one match, or if you do about 500 damage to your teammates overall, even if you didn't kill anyone. The probelm is that the system counts overkill damage to your overall team damage! Thats means that you can get banned for doing "too much damage to teammates" even if you only kill one player, depending on how powerful the weapon is you are using, and where you hit them. If you kill a teammate with an awp to the head it does 400+ damage, and you are pretty much screwed for the rest of the match, because if you clip a teammate once from that point on you are instantly banned, assuming you didn't get banned right then and there.

Valve, why does the system count overkill damage? One TK should never add more than 100 damage to your overall team damage. It makes no sense at all. If you awp a teammates head, intentionally or otherwise, it will do about 450 damage. 350 points of that damage doesn't count for anything!!!! The way the system works now the extra damage gets added to your overall TK damage. What the heck Valve. Why on earth does it work this way? I can understand having a team damage maximum, but adding arbitrary overkill damage to that value??? What are you guys thinking?
