Depth gameplay - Destructoid Livestream

So, who wants to see Depth being played live ?

I'll be hosting a server tomorrow and playing the game with 'KingFoom' of Destructoid's TwitchTV (http://www.twitch.tv/destructoid).The stream is set to go live @ around 7:30 PM eastern time so if this all sounds interesting to you, that'd be the time to tune in.

A small disclaimer : Depth is by no means finished, so expect to see some rough edges. This is just a chance to show the current game off to you folks without any editing or BS and to get your honest opinions about it. Myself and the rest of the Depth team are super excited about this and we're looking forward to hearing your feedback!

Hey guys,

As you have probably noticed by now our site is down. Unfortunately, the problem extends a little further than that - our subversion repository ( the entire content history of Depth) was recently deleted by an inept dedicated server host called 'arvixe' (www.arvixe.com) .

These fine people decided that because we were late on a payment by a few days ( we are in crunch mode, and they didn't even bother notifying us about the problem!) they would just take our server, wipe the hard drives, and then sell it off to someone else.

When I tried to get in contact with them and resolve the issue , they more or less laughed in my face and told me i'd never get the data back.

All is not lost, however.

We still have our local content and a (truncated) version of the subversion repository backed up with a different host. This will definitely hurt us, but it won't prevent us from continuing to work on the game.

Before all of these shenanigans, we were making great progress! There's a ton of really cool stuff we very much want to share with you all and we promise that once we are back on our feet we will make a better effort to release more frequent updates : )

Until then, watch where you swim!
