No becuase Otaku is an extremely negative word in Japanese (for nerds who take it too far, body pillows, waifus, etc). Weeaboo is an american term for people who are into Japanese culture. Or at least that is how it was explained to me.

@Kraz3 i think it's the other way around. I thought otaku was just liking computers, the body pillow thing was a weeaboo thing.
