Boris sounds like a hottie :p

Hi Fuzzy. I once had a Giant House Spider (Eratigena atrica) named Boris who lived in my bedroom. He was freaking massive but I didn't mind co-habiting with him.

However, one night I was woken by a tapping noise above my head. I turned on the bedside light to find Boris on the Paradise Lost poster I had on the wall above my bed. He was hitting the edge of the poster with one of his 3cm long legs and making a loud tapping noise.

I found out afterwards that the males do this to attract females. The thought of a spider actually making so much noise that it could wake me up freaking freaked me out and so I had to eject him out the window. I still think of Boris from time to time but I never saw him again.

Still taking the water tablets I hope... Ooh me hip.
