Did anyone else buy one of these things and then promptly let it gather dust? I think I really like it, but I also realized I have very little reason to play it unless I'm on an airplane.

To be honest, I've expected more of life in this group, since GPD Win 2s are already shipped to most of IGG backers. Sadly, it's not a case...

If only the Moga Controllers would work on it. That way could use the small compact version with compatible Games/Emulators.
Think they should have just used a Nub like the N3DS C-Nub for the Mouse with 2 small click Buttons so the Controller Switch can just be set for D or X Input Modes only.
Not to mention, they should have made it just a little thicker so the Shoulder Buttons could be set properly and also found Joysticks like the Moga Controller Joysticks where the L/R3 Buttons were part of them. That way when playing a FPS, you dont have to try and be creative trying to Crouch or Run or whatever the Buttons are needed to be set for.

using controller and dongle is a nice option to avoid this and also way more comfy

@sgtflowerschris It happens with every game. It's a known issue.

Anyone else have this problem:
Switch to XInput Mode, run Steam or Start the Game directly (Urban Trial Freestyle). Play the Game for a while, but when you Exit the Game.......the Keyboard no longer works.

just so u know No mans Sky requires 8GB's Ram minimum and is Very CPU heavy due to the Planet Generating. so sadly :-( i cant see this game ever running on the gpdwin which sucks i know, as id love to have it on my Gpdwin too.

I wrote an email to the No Man's Sky developers Hello Games to add support for the Intel HD 405 we use in our gpdwins. I'm quite optimistic they can do something.

I guess you tried to delete shaderfolder and deactivated mods already. Else you should try to start the game with a manually edited low setting config because the standard graphic settings are quite ambitious, which may also be a cause of crash.

No Man's Sky now supports the Intel HD. Can anyone confirm how/if it runs. What are the fps in 1280x720 and 544x960 all low settings?

Yeah even if you do all the low-spec adjustments, some games just do TOO much for the win. No Man's Sky stutters on my actual gaming laptop when graphics are on medium settings.

The game runs poorly on high end PC's so not much luck with the GDP

Anyone tried No Man's Sky on the GPD win? I've tried every tweak and it still crashes upon startup.

@ me pair of tims , i tried the steam version , its lags like crazy around 5-10fps with everything on low , even changed Shadow settings manually , i may have to try the Uplay version instread then with out stream.

@Lunacrysis The Crew works for me, just turn down all the settings and make sure you have a stable internet connection, you should'nt have any problems otherwhise.
I have my copy of the crew directly through uplay, so i don't know how the steam edition performs

Tried Dragonball Xenoverse 2. Runs at about 20-30 fps but crashes within 6-10 minutes, without special events. anybody got this problem?

I have a 200GB MicroSD/TF Card and it runs slow so it is not dependable for Games, and it seems like not even Emulators for that matter. But the USB Storage I have works perfectly. Just do NOT get a Samsung T1 500GB USB 3.0 SSD. Keep having Disconnection issues with it while trying to Install Large Games. On Amazon, I found I am not the only one so it is a Device Issue, not the GPD WIn. So best to go with a better SSD like Crucial. Already looking to get a 1TB SSD M.2 with USB 3.0 Enclosure. But so far, Urban Trial Freestyle works perfectly except for some reason, after running it for a while, the Keyboard no longer works and requires a Restart/Shut Down->Startup

Dead Space 1 runs above 30fps

My Indiegogo GPD Win arrived a weak ago and I have been able to get Xcom 2 working with some tweaks. I can put up with 20fps on a turn based game.

Enter the Gungeon works, frame rate can stay above 30 with medium settings. Mother Russia Bleeds also, plays at a SOLID 60 frames.

Ys VI :The Ark of Napishtim and Ys Origin work great, solid framerates and they don't tax the machine hard enough to generate much heat.
