Why is there no Gmod from the 2011-2012 period? The latest version goes up to 2010. I have old demos from 2011 and 2012 and I can't play them on the 2010 version.

I joined the group but it's not letting me start a thread. Anyway, for posterity: If anyone has an issue where GMOD 12 crashes immediately after pressing Play with no error messages try adding -dxlevel 81 to your launch options and start the game. You can remove it afterwards.

look at the comments, look at how many members there are, look at the announcements and forum posts, and once you've looked at everything you decide wether its safe or not. or you could just do a virus scan idk
