Ahha see now i thought about the weight of the shot gun and ammo cap, so to solve this problem i modifyed it to be able to hold 8 shells and i will be also cutting it down to size by removing the butt pad and adding a pistol grip, and per the knife problem i have a wide assortment of knife and combat knifes at the ready

Well Legion, I'd suggest also getting a close quarters weapon ready to go as well. In many ways that shotgun you're modifying will become more of a liability than a boon due to weight, maintenance, and noise. It'd be a great thing to have in high intensity situations, but for long term survival you may want to look at a sharpened machete or spade. Something that can both kill and serve other uses will cut down on weight carried over time. Of course, I'm all for modifying a shotgun, if you want any recommendations or have found any cool ideas you'd like to share shoot me a message.
