On November 7th 1917, a Revolution was sparked that served as a wake up call and a beacon for all members of the Proletariat.

With the storming of the Winter Palace and the overthrowing of the Provisional Government under Kerensky, that beacon, a beacon of hope, of another path away from warmongering, bigotry, and oppression, became the embodiment of the Soviet Republics. Despite foreign intervention, isolation, and a brutal civil war, they prevailed against both Invader and Reactionary.

The people you rightly revile in Charlottesville are the people Obama used in Ukraine and the ones used in Venezuela. Don't turn your heads. Those who denounce fascist violence only on their door & legitimize it internationally, calling it "revolution", remain accountable. No international communist or progressive refused you sympathy; Yet many of you continue to offer support & legitimacy to their torturers. Fascism is Trump, but not merely Trump. It is Obama, too, for those not living under protective bubbles. It is the Pentagon, the CIA, the US Army, Exxon, Raytheon, Wall Street, the cops, the entire political-military-finance complex of the USA. It is understandable you can't fight them all. But why do you aid and abet those you "like?" Why do you normalize fascism against others? Last, but not least, how is it that Russia, who lost 27 MILLION to your few hundred thousand in WWII to stop fascism, is "responsible?" Is it responsible for Indian displacement and murder? For slavery? Lynching? The KKK? Your country's rehabilitation of Nazis from Germany, from the Ukraine, from all of Europe? Is it responsible for cops killing blacks, the bombing of Korea, Vietnam, all the atrocities your country has normalized as "necessary" against the poor and the colored? Is it responsible for US corporate rapacity? This is 100% USA. It's all yours, has been for decades, even for centuries. Born and raised on your soil. And boy, have you been told before. MLK? Malcolm? Robeson? Baldwin? Chief Seattle? AIM and Peletier? Muhammad Ali? The Panthers? They have all told you, again and again. Golden Dawn Greece is involved with Charlottesville. But who napalmed Greek communists in 1947-49 so that Nazi collaborators could rule Greece? In the end, it all comes home to roost. And still we empathize. But with anger at decades of blithe indifference and the will not to know. You want to fight fascism? Connect your struggles with those fighting fascism instead of abetting "regime change" because liberals said so. - "Στενή Αυτοάμυνα‏"

Russian approval of Vladimir Lenin is surging as the centennial of his rise to power approaches, independent pollster the Levada Center has found. The majority of Russians (56 percent) view the founder of the Soviet Union’s role in history either entirely positively or largely positively—the highest such figure since Levada started running the survey in 2006.

A fine bit of news on this, the 147th anniversary of Lenin's birth. Happy Birthday, Lenin.

Today we honor the 56th anniversary of their acomplishment in sending their representitive, Yuri Gagarin, into space.

US Army Opens Fire in Seoul, Seek to Topple South Korean Government

In a late-evening surprise attack, Trump ordered the US Army to march onto the streets of Seoul, South Korea. Sean Spicer, US Press Secretary for the Trump administration, spoke to a gathering of bewildered journalists, saying "President Trump has decided that the time to take drastic action has arrived and is moving to depose Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un." When reporter Rachel Toriyama of CNN pointed out that Kim Jong-Un is, in fact, the leader of North Korea, and that Seoul is the capital of South Korea, Spicer said "Trump understands the severity of the situation and is working hard from his golf course in Florida to address the issue. According to alternative facts provided independently by both Vladimir Putin and the Communist Party of China, there is only one Korea. Understanding that the capital of Korea is Seoul, Trump has CORRECTLY determined that the dictator Kim Jong-Un must be in Seoul. Any word to the contrary is, in fact, Fake News." Soon after the confrence ended, Trump, who had apperently been watching the announcement on television tweeted "CNN reporter doesn't even know what Korea is! Sad!" followed a few seconds later by "Does she know Kim John-Um? She should set up a meeting between us and John. It'll be great!"

Theresa May, the only world leader to issue a statement at time of writing, said "We, of course, stand with our former colony in this endeavor to force two countries to accept unification while actively damaging foreign and economic relations outside of those countries. It is good to see Trump taking the UK's forced-Brexit-but-unified example as a model for US relations going forward." Acting president of South Korea Hwang Kyo-ahn gave a panicked television address to the citizens of South Korea saying "Everything is under control! I am faxing a map of Korea to President Trump as we speak! Please remain calm!" The connection was abruptly interrupted. Kim Jong-Un could not be reached for comment but North Korea's state media reports Kim is "safe and plesently surprised."
