Yay I was finaly able to connect the the server. I had to find it in the steam server browser but im finally able to connect by myself. thx agentpothead

It is a New York server, so I think european pings are in the 120-160 range.

Oh man I forgot to update you guys. Apparently valve has not updated some of the hlds files for this game, so when you try to update your server nothing happens. I'm not sure if this is the windows or linux version, but I am sure it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ retarded. So Killing Shack won't be up till monday probably. Sorry for the confusion!

Further notice! The server should be all set. It holds 6 players, and spectators if people want to wait and watch. 74.63.54.120:7707 The easiest thing to do is in the in game browser, go to Favorites, and right click the list and add it by ip. The name is KillingShack and the password == appleflappen It should show up in the browser list but I'm not 100% on that, plus it sucks, so try to add it to your favorites. I know the voting is wonky right now I'll try to get that fixed.

We have an official server! 74.63.54.120 is the IP address, add that to your favorites list. The password is "appleflappen" without the quotes.

The good news is the dedicated server is all set. The bad news is I can only connect to the webmin part of it, I cannot connect to the game server itself! ArtOfWar is looking into it I'll post the information as soon as it's working.

ok so ill be the first to admit that i kinda suck at these kinds of games. am i going to be run out on a rail if play with you guys?

Just a recommendation for server settings: until we all start levelling up our perks and getting good at the game, medium skill is probably best. 8 player max, and a good number of spectator slots so people can join and sit in queue basically and watch an ongoing shack game. Maybe make the server passworded and only post it in this group.

I just played for a while with 3 people and it was awesome. I can't wait to see how it is with 6.
