I don't actually own the game. I looked around online to find information on the microtransactions and there wasn't much I could find other than some websites saying that you could pay x amount for various items and some praising it's microtransactions.

I'm talking about Origins. Just attack some guards, loot the forts, & trade some animal pets.

Heads up, with Assassin's Creed you can also win with just using play money alone. I don't know if you figured that out or the ingame tutorial told you that.
