I'm getting an auth error trying to sign in. My login info is correct and I passed the steam guard. Now I get this in the cmd:

That repeats forever and never logs in. I got the API from the link you said but it asked for a Domain. I wasn't sure what to enter so I entered one of the domains I own.

Thanks. I think that if you log in via Mist on the same computer (to generate the sentryfile) it'll let you trade right away. Probably not if you're using Mist for the first time on a different computer though.

I don't remember. I have my login info saved for a long time so I'm not quite clear on what happens with Steam Guard. However if someone could test it I'd appreciate it.

Mist will not login properly until authentication methods are updated. So as of now, it doesn't work.

Any long term plans on maybe implementing steam market? it would be fantastic to just be able to sell an item through Mist rather than having to deal with Valve's unbearable current setup. And on a side note, this is absolutely fantastic, keep up the great work :D

Unfortunately Mist can't support cross-game trading. No ETA on this yet, as much as I'd like it to happen :(

You don't have .NET 4.0 installed - it's a common error that happens when that's the case. Even if you think you have it installed, it's probably best to try to install it anyway.

I'm having an issue where it doesn't authenticate the (I'm guessing, the API key) and doesn't work.

Hey, can someone explain how to acquire and properly use the steam API key that it asks for? I can't seem to get the right thing. At least, when i try to sign into MIST it won't proceed past the "Done Loading Account!" stage at the bottom. This application looks brilliant and i'd very much like to use it!
