Mist v5 brings about some big changes; namely tons of new features and a much more beautiful interface (some inspired by Metro for Steam skin).

You will not be able to update automatically via Mist. You will have to redownload it. I don't remember if you had to install Mist before, but it's completely standalone now.

Enough said! Watch out for another announcement sometime next week.

I realize I haven't updated Mist for over 10 months, but that's soon to change. I'm currently working on big changes with Mist. You might find that Mist's GitHub repo has had some updates recently (if you don't want to wait for updates, feel free to compile it yourself) but I haven't updated it officially because I'm not done everything I want to do yet.

One feature I'm particularly excited for is Augmented Native Trading for Mist. What is that, you ask? Well, this means that you will be able to trade users via Steam's official trade interface (while keeping handy Mist features such as showing you the total value of both users' items), which will allow you to trade any user items from any game. That's right, no more TF2-only trading!

With this feature comes numerous backend changes to Mist. I've done a fair bit of code cleanup and updates to old code, and I'm very happy to say that things are coming along smoothly.

There is no ETA for when I will officially update Mist, so please be patient (and check out the GitHub repo if you'd like to compile the dev builds yourself).

Mist 4.0.0 has been released! This is a complete redesign of the UI!
