Oddworld: New 'N' Tasty was released last summer on PS4. Six months later, it's not quite as new. Hopefully it's just as tasty, as the Abe's Oddysee remake will arrive on PC next month, on 25 February.

It's a remastered version of the original Oddworld game, which followed Abe on his journey from meat factory employee to saviour of his kind. You can see just how remastered via this PS4 launch trailer:

The PC release will come with "fan-requested" improvements—i.e. the old-school control settings—as well as achievements and leaderboards and all the other things you basically have to have these days.
Price? £15, $20 or €20.

hi,i just bought this amazing game tonight and i loved this game since i was a child! But when i bought it and played it all i could see was a black screen! i tried and tried to get rid of it and it kept happening! this is extremely agravating as i am a really impatient man! can anybody help anybody at all? i am extremely desperate! thanks.

I'd love that Hand of Odd Game so much! I would just love to be able to build up an industrial empire and crush them mudokens haha!:D I really hope they make that one actualy I just hope they make more. There is so much potential in the oddworld universeit's so rich!

I agree with you Trail. As a diehard fan of the series, I believe that Lorne has the greatest desire to bring the franchise back, and possibly finish the Quintology, or use his studio's talents, to do something new with it. Perhaps a couple of the unfinished games in the series will come to life in the future, like Hand of Odd, Munch's Exoddus, or my personal one I wish to see made, SligStorm.

I have a hunch that Oddworld Inhabitants died way to early, and now that they have Just Add Water on their side, we can expect them to make a comeback with the remakes, and possibly future games. One thing is for sure though. Oddworld, will never truely die.

I sincerly hope that once Oddworld: New'n'tastey (Abe HD) comes out the franchise will make a comeback. Oddworld brings back so many memories...I can't help but feel that somehow once the company's back in full force that it'd take the media-world by a storm - or should I say - SOULSTORM!!1 (herpadurpaderp failpun). I'm sure this generation of gamers would get as much of a kick out of the series as the last generation did.

All oddworld needs is new content and the HD revisions we're getting to introduce this generation of gamers to itself, aswell as regain the interest of long-time fans like me. I heard that after they see how much money they can get to flow in from Abe HD (and Abe's Exodus HD) the first thing they'd try to do is immediatly start making actual new oddworld games with the original character cast. If their new content is anything even remotely as original and creative as their past glory (excluding perhaps Munch's Oddysee), it'd be a dream come true!

A place for oddworld fans like myself. :)

No I'm afraid I haven't had any problems with Stranger's Wrath at all, but maybe that's because I'm running it on the lowest settings. Sorry, that must suck.

Oh my cthulu a group full of oddworld fans! I remember when I first put Oddysee in I was flabbergasted, and than I died.... alot. I raged at it (I was only a youngster at the time) and put in MGS. I went back to the game later, and beat it and enjoyed it rather thoroughly.
