We'll get the PUGs and whatnot rolling again very soon, I've had a lot of personal stuff going on with Grad School and whatnot, and hadn't been able to put much time into TF2 the last couple weeks. I ought to have something going within the next week :)

Thanks everyone who came out for the second PUG! It was a little rocky, pre-arranged sign ups are definately the way to go.
For those who did stick around, the 4s match on koth_wubwubwub was pretty great.
More PUGs will be coming soon, and hopefully will work out better than tonights...

Weren't you there? And yes, Blu did win by quite a bit. In the fututre we'll be implementing a captain system instead to make things run more smoothly

PUG tonight was awesome, thanks everyone for coming out! Streedur and I have a bit of work to do getting the server running perfectly and next time we will use a normal captain system instead of the pre-arranged sign up we used today. The game was great!

Also- Alot of people have requested it, so a PUG on koth_wubwubwub WILL happen. If you're interested, someone make a post in the forums and get people together. You can of course count me in.

Thanks to everybody who dropped by the server tonight! It was alot of fun meeting you all! Those of you who were busy missed the most informal 6s match ever played, an adventure to koth_trainsawlaser, and a great party on koth_wubwubwub. Hope to see everyone again tomorrow night!

UPDATE: NA Server is being set up and should be ready within the next few days. Tomorrow I'll be posting in the UGC forums to get some higher level mentors (Gold/Plat) to allow our more experienced members get help as well. It was great playing with some of you earlier today, once the server is up it will happen frequently. An EU server is also in the works. Until then, I'm actually do this crazy thing called Playing TF2. Catch you all later

as far as playing in the next day or two? Most likely. But an EU game could also be organized, I'm currently looking for an EU Mod to help handle things on that end. However, a friend of mine from Germany has been able to get consistently decent Ping on the bank of servers we'll probably end up playing on.

UPDATE: Tonight or tomorrow we will be hosting a community game on an empty server, and hope everyone, mentors and mentees alike will join us. Also, I'll soon be talking to some excellent members of our new community about setting up both NA and EU servers! A subreddit is also in the works, and more details will be available on that soon. Also, please go check out the raffle! If it gets interest I'll probably hold another with bigger, better prizes. Right now, our biggest focus is expanding, so please wear [RFA] tags, invite your friends, and pitch our group to the random folks you're playing in a pub with. Our future looks promising, with nearly 200 members in less than 2 days, and mentors for every class for every major region!! Talk to you all soon!

If you want to take your Sniper aim to the next level and become a real force to be recokned with, contact me for mentoring. I can help you with the basics if needed as well, but I'm mostly looking to teach advanced sniping at the competetive level. Good snipers are rare to come by, but if you do come by one, you'll have entire teams focused on taking him down by the end of his rampage. Besides, its always fun being called a hacker in a pub, isn't it?

What about making a post where mentors can post, and then people come to them? Like I'm mentoring Soldier mainly, so what if I say "Hey, add me blah blah blah" and then once someone looking for a Soldier mentor adds me, I remove my post?

You can mentor people however you see fit there is currently a running discussion in the Mentor group about how everyone is going about it.
