New client, old players

So I guess there's some new client going into open beta in a few days(and supposedly releasing in May-ish) and I've been told there's a few of the old guard returning for it. I'm not as hip to the details myself but from what I've been told-

>Kabam is gone
>New company Deca is trying to "fix" things
>Client rolls out with a bunch of changes
>Pets will be nerfed in combat
>Probably a bunch of other shit

This is just a PSA to let anybody interested know. I might even check it out myself. Feel free to call me a shill.

I'm sure most of you that care already know, but runic finally announced a solid date at september 20th. When it comes out we can organize groups through the steam group chat or something.

Well, we haven't really been using this group since /vg/ happened and you were all gay enough to keep a thread up 24/7, but that's finally died, as well as realm itself(thanks to kabam). I'm sure some people still play and others will come on occassionally, but for the most part we've all moved on from it. In the threads and in game chats we have talked about staying together through various games in the future, torchlight 2 being a big contender for a time(and still is, but fucking runic is never going to release it). As it stands though we haven't really found another game that people want to move to as a group. If you have suggestions, leave a comment or something.

I will, however, still be getting GW2 and with the server lists posted up, me and my friends have decided on a server. For those of you that want to follow me we will be rolling on Borlis Pass.

Kicked alot of people this week that were never on or doing anything. Have 23 slots open this time. If you got kicked and were active, then just get somebody to reinvite you, but if you had under 100 fame in 2 weeks I don't see how you could be particularly active.

Anyway, I'll be sitting in USEast2(because USEast is crowded to the point of breaking atm) for the next hour or so in the top left garden for those who want invites. I'll also be in the steam chat. If you need invites after that just contact me(IGN is Tkill) or any other guild member or leave a comment or something and we'll try to meet you so we can invite.

As for guild/steam group events we could try setting up an event or something for both guilds to meet up in a realm and take it over, but we'd need to know what a good time for everyone would be and such. Would be kind of underwhelming to "take over" a realm with 15 people.

We usually play on US Midwest.

Since an invite requires both you and a current member to be online at the same time, the easiest way to get an invite is to add me on steam. As soon as I see it, I'll hop on and invite you. You can also ask for an invite on the /vg/ thread, we have some nice members who watch it and will offer to invite you.

We currently have 39 members, and inactive members will be booted each weekend.

Cleared out all the people with 0 fame, we have 8 spots open again, first come first serve, but if you join and then don't play, don't expect to not be kicked for space. Also holy shit SOMEBODY make a second guild already. If you already have contact me or bigbossg, through the comments on this, the group, the group chat, steam, in game, SOMETHING. That or you could all just wait until there's space in this guild, but that could take awhile. I'll be doing these kicks every sunday until we get more guilds or a higher guild pop cap gets put in the game so people who want to join can.

We have a guild now. To join the guild you need to make yourself a permanent name, which you can do at the Knight statue in the nexus spawn. It's free the first time you do it, but cost money to change your name again.

You will also have to get one class quest complete, which means you have to get to at least level 10 and die on the class it starts you with. Getting to level 10 doesn't take very long and isn't difficut to do.

As of right now, any member in the guild can invite, but you need to meet one of the members somewhere, as you are required to be nearby to be invited. Leave a comment here or find someone in the guild in chat room and arrange a meet up.
