RESOLVED

Had to perform an emergency hotfix as error lines where being written to the log file. Which was increasing the file size exponentially.

New Server Features!

The Server now has 29 different features (plugins). Some of which are tools for admins, but most of them are for you the player. Here is what i added this weekend.

• Base Alarm - Will notify you when your base is under attack!
• Game Time - Type /time to get the current "Rust" time.
• Airdrop Frequency Controller - Will call air drops between set "Rust" times.
• Ping - Type /ping will display your current ping.
• Player Location - Type /location which can be used to track your potion at RustNuts[www.rustnuts.com]
• Ownership Remover - Use your Pick Axe to remove your building objects!
• Door Sharing - I put this plugin back into the game as its more secure then the Rust one.
• Arena - When the arena is opened players can type /arena to teleport to it.
• MOTD - Send a private welcome message to the user when they log in.
• Rock Remover - Removes the rock from spawning in your inventory every time you log in! However if you have an open slot on your action bar YOU WILL spawn a rock, this is to prevent new players from not getting their rock.

Rust++ 1.5 to Launch the Jailing Idea.

Good news, once Rust++ 1.5 comes out, set features that is required for the "jailing" idea. Will start getting everything setup.

The only thing that is effecting the idea now is the low amount of players we currently have on Rustic World. I've been hard at work trying to promote the server, i hope in a few months will be at the target goal of having a healthy Rustic World Community population. I hope that in some way people do see my dedication and decide that playing on a Rust server that has a very enthusiast, loyal and hard working Admin/Host that they decide to make Rustic World their home.

Server Lag & Slot Downgraded

You may or may not have noticed, but we downgraded the server slot amount from 200 to 100 today. As the server grows we will adjust as needed.

Also there has been some server latency issues from our Dallas Node. If the server latency continues to be an issue i'll request a relocate to one of their Chicago Nodes.

Rust++ Is Enabled!

You can now share your doors with others! Get a list of players online and their names, ping the server, private message your friends or give yourself a starter pack! Just type /help in game to bring up the list of commands.

Rust Server & Client Update

There was a server and client update for Rust, which seems to have wiped the Rust Map file. Trying to find out if the old map saves are still compatible with the new version.

This may be something out of my control.

Rustic World is Online

Our server is now up and running. I'm in the process of setting up a website/forum and other social outlets for the server.
