Is anybody else hoping that by "Multiplayer Support" Notch is reffering to fixes for multiplayer furnaces, minecarts and mobs? If these are fixed I'll get a dedicated server running for us.

Technically, mining fish is impossible. If you mean catching fish, you can't catch fish in game yet. It's not implemented.
