NME > Method
Enemy is just a much better roster imo. With the addition of Relyks, the lineup is much stronger. Im still doubting the choice of bringing mainline on the team and the fact that ryu wont be there to call but looking at the roster, they have a very strong fragging team. Method is going to play with toy who is a very stronger. This match will most likely be a tie, but if a team was going to win, it would be enemy, they have been a very dedicated team since they joined their org and method has been playing very inconsistantly recently.
Risk: Med // Bet: Med

CLG > Liquid
CLG has been having great performances recently, not only at cologne but online and at a lot of other events as well. Liquid will be playing with hiko, dont know if its permanent or if he is just subbing, but seems like he is playing most of liquids recent games. Liquid is a very strong team, and with hiko they have the potential to be even stronger, but right now, watching them play, it is still very sketchy. They almost lost a map to a very weak complexity that lost to teams much weaker. Furthermore, CLG has a bo3 advantage going for them. They have also won the past 4/5 matches against liquid.
Risk: Med // Bet: Med
WooSah > mouseSpaz
mouseSpaz has went through some many roster changes, their recent roster has had decent mediocre performance, a while back, they actually lost i believe 3 scrims to woosah pretty convincingly too. Woosah is definetly imho not at the same fragging level as some of the mS players, but for some reason, the team has not been preforming that bad. They played a scrim against a puggy tempo storm and managed to win. I believe woosah has a decent shot at this and they are definetly not out of the woods.
Risk: High // Bet: Low

Nexus > DRT
Looking at nexus' lineup, clearly outfrags and outpowers DRT who is a no name team currently. They are no where at the same level of nexus who has been outplaying many other teams at their same league, DRT is even a league under if i am not mistaken. Nexus can easily pug this out and just outfrag drt imho.
Risk: Low // bet: High

3sUp > Sponsorless
I dont have much hope for sponsorless, they are a pug team, undergoing many roster changes, not a very consistant team rn. 3sUp has been having very inconsistant results as well beating big names then losing to the lesser known. These odds are kind stupid so i suggest an icb.
Risk: High // Bet: ICB/Low

Mortality > Mythic
Mortality has been showing decent results recently taking it twice to overtime against sponsorless. Mythic on the other hand has been struggling somewhat having inconsistant and sometimes bad showings in their past matches and scrims, tieing against lunatik. I believe mortality has a very good shot at this, at least at taking one map maybe. High risked, mythic has a very strong lineup. But this is a match where i wouldnt throw too much.
Risk: High // Bet: ICB/Low

Liquid > compLexity
Liquids roster has been together for a long time, now with the addition of hiko, the team will be stronger than ever. Complexity is a lineup that has been undergoing a lot of changes and even with their stable roster couldnt find much success. In a bo2, i dont see liquid losing.
Risk: Low // Bet: High

ESL Cologne Semi Finals

EnVyUs > TSM
This match is a pretty risky one. Both teams have the potential to beat each other. Envys history against tsm with the new roster has been a 100%(4/4 maps) win rate, but you have to take that with a grain of salt because TSM were definetly not performing at their peak and 2 of the 4 maps played were on cobble, a map tsm are reknowned to be shitty on. The 2 other maps being cache and inferno. Envy has been playing outstandingly with the new roster and cologne is not an exception. They took convincing wins against flipsid3 on inferno and also against Na'Vi, 2-0 actually, one might say that navi was underperforming but imho, i dont think any team would be underperforming in such an important event, id rather think of it as the other team that is much more prepared in this case envy. Granted envy went into overtime against Luminosity, but a lot of people think that lg is some tier 4 team which is untrue, they put fnatic to their limits only losing on mirage 14-16, luminosity is definetly a team to fear and it was not the least supposed to be an easy win for envy. Now lets look into TSMs journey. They took out renegades in a decently close match, renegades is also an up and coming team that has improved immensily. They then proceed to take out NiP 16-3 on cache in a dominating fashion. In the quarters, they take out Kinguin 2-0 rather convincingly. I would definetly say that the kinguin match should be taken lightly as even scream said himself in an interview that the team was just not performing and the comms were bad. All in all i wouldnt say one team has had an easier path to this semi final or performed better. In my opinion, whats making envy such a big threat is the fact that they are a rather new roster, and with such fraggers plus such a strong awper, a lot of teams wont know how to play against envy at the start, kind of like the surprise factor. As for Tsm, they have been there for such a long time, studying them wouldnt be a problem. If we think about the maps, Envy would ban overpass and tsm will ban cobble. On dust2, id say it is about 50 50, but we all know dust 2 is kennys playground so. On cache, Envy has shown very good results before cologne on cache but tsm has recently anhialated nip on it. On inferno, Envy has proven whose boss taking out everyone. On mirage, Envy surprisingly beat Navi on it with a decent scoreline, navi being one of the top mirage teams. Train is a map we havent seen much from both teams, tsm did play it against renegades and struggled a bit. This match is honestly really hard to call and i have regrouped all the facts that you could possibly gather. The only thing left to analyse this match is your own thought and your own gut, my gut tells me envy because i just dont see kennys not making it to the finals of a major ;)
Risk: High // Bet: Low

fnatic > Virtus Pro
fnatic just destroying everyone right now in cologne. They did have a bit of a struggle against lg on mirage, but other than that, they have been man powering all the other teams, destroying navi. Virtus Pro seems to be playing very well as well. This matchup has a very long history and fnatic has been on the top of it for a very long time. I just dont see fnatic losing right now, they are playing way to good. JW the beast has awoken....plus their map pool is much more diverse than vps rn imo.
Risk: Med // Bet: Med

Good luck with bets!
-astraL

YA YA READ THIS ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

So i am leaving for vacation tomorrow morning. I will be back home in a month. Which means that i might not be able to post my analysis nor update my spreadsheet unfortunately. On the good side, I think this will be good for me to take a break. I will though keep betting and stay active in the esport community. I will post daily on twitter: updates, funny shits, and of course my bets so if you still want to stay updated about me, go follow my twitter. So yea, to sum it up, I will not be posting analysis of matches for a month nor will i update my spreadsheet, only way to stay updated with my betting predictions or just about me would be to follow me on twitter where i will actively post and answer questions.

For ESWC that is starting tomorrow i believe, if the matches appear before my flight arrives, i will go ahead and predict the matches. Other than that, I think this break will do me some good.

On a side note ... #c9win ;)

-astraL
https://twitter.com/astrql

Wednesday, 8th of July, 2015 - EU

fnatic > Virtus Pro
This is a showmatch and the prize money is nothing too big. Dont expect any team to play to their best. The only reason why vp won yesterday was because they kept ddosing fnatic, even to that, fnatic brought it pretty close. fnatic is an all arround better team than virtus. Vp is way to inconsistant and when one of their players dont show up, it could go downhill. In a bo3, fnatic has a much better pool of maps than vp.
Risk: Med-High // Bet: Low-Med

Hellraisers > Acer
Acer playing with 2 subs, one of them being schneider which is pretty good. Hellraisers are looking pretty good right now against tsm even though they struggled a bit yesterday. Acer will not have their normal team chemistry with 2 subs, hellraisers is a very strat heavy team as they dont necessarily have the best fraggers, i dont think acer will be able to deal with the strats without their full lineup, communication will be sketchy.
Risk: Med-High // Bet: Low-Med

Virtus Pro > TSM
TSM has surprisingly been struggling a lot on dust 2 losing to titan, mouz and others. Virtus on the other hand seems to favor d2 a lot now. Taz in an interview actually said that dust was one of their more comfortable maps and that showed, vp had some good results on it taking down c9 and tsm on it. Upset potential is pretty high as tsm are not playing their best cs right now.
Risk: High // Bet: Low

TSM > fnatic
TSM arent playing super great right now. But fnatic has always been a team tsm found a way to beat even if they lost to some random tier 4 team. Karrigan has a great read on pronax. The only time fnatic beat them was with the whole team on hangover. Cache has been an up and down map for tsm, they either shine or crumble on it. Not to mention this match is basically meaningless for both teams and you know what fnatic does when they play a match that means nothing, they take it much lighter than others granted they want to take revenge on tsm and tsm wants to keep their dominance. I think the big factor here will be whether device and canjunb will step it up. If they do show their true self, fnatic could be under a lot of trouble.
Risk: High // Bet: Low

Tuesday, 7th of July, 2015 - EU

Epsilon > AlienTech
Alientech is a team that seems to just cant do anything together. They have been having poor results lately and not a single convincing victory. Epsilon on the other hand, has been performing ok. They took it pretty close yesterday against reason with a cadian carry. Epsilon is a team that i followed a lot and i know this lineup pretty well. It consists of very strong fraggers with mixwell being their insane awper that could sometimes change the pace of the game if he goes off. Granted this is a bo1, but if epsilon does not underperform, they should be able to take this.
Risk: Low-Med // Bet: Med-High

mouz > 1337
Mouz has been looking amazing recently taking down titan and penta 2-0. I believe they are still in a bootcamp too which should just make mousesports an even stronger team. 1337 will be playing with 2 subs if i am not mistaken. This is a huge factor when it comes down to teamplay. Furthermore, imo mouz has a lot better aim than some of the 1337 players making their life even harder.
Risk: Low-Med // Bet: Med-High

fnatic > VP
Fnatic has proven themselves once again to be the best team in the world this time taking the esl esea finals. They also proved themselves to be a team to fear on overpass taking down virtus 16-3. I dont think vp has beaten fnatic once on overpass yet. The problem i have though is that both of these teams just came back from a lan and both of these teams have the tendencies to underperform the first day coming back from a lan. So be wary and bet at your own risk. If fnatic plays as they usually play, they should be able to take it as it is a map they know virtus on very well.
Risk: Med-High // Bet: Low-Med

Virtus Pro > Flipsid3
VP has been playing a lot of overpass recently and have been looking decent. Flipsid3 though definetly arent as experienced as vp on the map. The only victory they got was against a weak tsm. They lost pretty hard against all the other teams. VP has brought some good numbers against strong teams like fnatic, nv, etc. This is a risky match though because flipsid3's individual plays are pretty on point right now and this is a bo1 so.
Risk: Med-High // Bet: Low-Med

Flipsid3 > Virtus Pro
Mirage is a map both teams are fairly comfortable on. However, recently, vp has not been favoring this map like they used to and is struggling against teams like titan and dignitas. Flipsid3's individual plays are very on point right now, especially simple and i can see this causing a lot of trouble for vp. We saw that on cache which was played earlier on, where flipsid3 were just taking the advantage on trades. Odds are favoring vp so its a good underdog bet.
Risk: High // Bet: Low

Good luck and have fun with your bets!
-astraL
https://twitter.com/astrql
