Although it isn't Ubisoft, I think this link is semi-relevant and might be information worth spreading around. http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2011/08/24/eas-origin-eula-proves-even-more-sinister/

I thought it might be worth mentioning that From Dust seems to be using the same DRM.

Thanks, Sintar.

Now Ubisoft giving free games for AC 2 and Silent Hunter 5 owners who were unable to play a few days ago due to the DRM system failure. Still no sign of the DRM going away, though.

And by to not include, I meant do no include. I should check for typos more carefully.

We can stand proud that our most played games to not include AC II. Nice work everyone!

Seems like now they've released a patch that allows you to recover your game from the lpoint where you were when it gets disconnected. They're still going with the draconian DRM, though.

Update- ACII has been cracked: 6 days before release!

The AC2 boycott might be better enforced, since it's a singleplayer game you won't have friends guilting you into buying it against your principles.

It has been a long while since I last ran a game in my machines that wasn't legit. I'm always telling my nephews and nieces that pirate games are never on par with legit ones, that you only get the best experience out of it if you do your part and pay for it.

Ubisoft, though, is making my argument kinda hard to support.

Heya, just joined to say good luck, though I get the feeling that the same thing will happen to groups like this that did with the MW2 boycott groups.
