Scotland is better off in the union - renewable energy and Scottish agriculture won't be enough to support the Scottish economy alone - the Aberdeen oil won't last forever, either, if the Scots even get to keep the oil - and there is no guarantee that Scotland will join the EU in 2014 and furthermore, i'd rather retrace my routes in England/S'pore than see a devious little ♥♥♥♥ like Salmond in charge...

The Queen's not Welsh or Irish either, or even fully English to be honest (George V changed the name of his branch from the German Saxe-Coburg and Gotha to the English Windsor in 1917, due to the Anti-German Sentiment in the British Empire during World War I). That's not the point, the point is that we are stronger in a union than we are as separate nations, besides the economic part which I really do not know much about, all it would do is strain relations. Think of how much England and Scotland has been through until they finally joined together, we have been unified for 305 years now and we should stay strong together! I could go on more, but I'll leave it there for now.
