Good stuff ? It made mine worse. My in cockpit view is all solarized. Looks like a poster from the 60's. It also locked up and froze. My card is GTX 580 with an i7 cpu and 18 gb of ram. There is no good reason for this to be hanging.

All Fish Thanks for the reply, but it is now end-of August and even with the lolwest texture settings my mouse is basically unuseable. Not real thrilled with COD yet!
Only happens when actually playing the game ie; Choosing Options, Mani menu etc, etc... mouse is fine. I am using an optical mouse. ANy other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

use Low texture settings, Textures and Trees cause the stutters. And the Trees seem to cause a sound bug when online. Contrary to whats been said here, The game is the problem not your system. but like previous IL2 projects It has been designed to get better through its instalments rather than any quick fix,s. I would expect another update in another 3-5 weeks.

I am running a 2.5 ghz quade core Win 7 64bit and the game often does not exit gracefully, the mouse jerks all around ONLY while in the game ?? HELP

i guess i should post my specs... i have an i7 [email protected] 8Gb PC1600 7-8-7-24 g.skill ram and a Nvidia GTX570HD 2.5GB videocard, i use the x52 pro, saitek rudder pedals and a saitek throttle quadrant i run the game max settings on 1920x1080 no problems,

so basically the only way this game is really bad is if you don't have the proper equipment, don't blame the game, tho yes there are bugs, their temporary

I love this game, its wicked awesome, u need a good stick, at least an x52, cheap 20$ logitech jobbies won't do the trick, rudder pedals make it a lot easier, and if u can get a seperate throttle quadrant it helps a lot too, also unless u have a 1200$+ computer don't expect the game to run on max settings

So anyone have a Logitech 3d Pro? If so how does it work with Cliffs of Dover?

Well if it isn't released and is pushed back I think I should get a refund on, at this point I want to play it even if it is broke instead of uber vaporware...

6 days to go. Last time they pushed it back the day before release. Anyone care to place a bet? :)

Steam will just tell you it is not their probelm and send to Ubisoft, who wont respond

i think the realase date will stick ! and the recent beta patches are delightfull in what they bring to IL2 now. Its coming together nicely.

For any kind of semi-accurate timescale for the US release, check the 1C Forums. In all serious though chaps, us in the UK and Europe who already have it are just as frustrated as you guys, as we are the unofficial Beta testers and there are still many problems.

Does steam email us when games are delayed? Where do I find out when I can expect the game that I pre-ordered???

I agree with Smot Poker. I was told that the 24th was the release date and here we are at the 24th and still no game. I'm thinking it's time to get my money back. How do we go about getting refunds? I don't feel either Steam or IL2 clowns need to sit on it any longer. I preorderd in March for an early April release. Thihs isn't right.

I agree. I went and read up on what has been going on with the game. I would definitely prefer a delay over a broken game.

Guys, the game was released early everywhere else a bit of a serious mess. now considering that the US release date isnt so bad. many have this game and are unable to play it. please dont say you want to buy a game that is unplayable and unfinished., because franly speaking you will be back complaining and the current community really doesnt need that. this delay is a good thing. trust me.

this is absolute dishonesty......i have had this game on pre order and sat patiently month after month after month while the US release date is pushed back. They already have my money and I have nothing to show for it. Not to mention the game is being played for months elsewhere. I understand they want the game to be polished, but now I have to wait an addtional 2 months til july as other steam users are already playing. I demand the game be unlocked for those with pre order or refund so i can buy a hard copy.
