I guess you're right. But, you know, after watching quite a tons of titles, This one still stands as my favorite.

Anyway, I was hoping to find people who still have something special about this sad story.

I don't think they're forgetting it. For example, I'm still a huge fan of that show and have collceted quite some merchanides over the years.

Still. It's 13 episodes and that's it. It will occupy the most when you first see it. And it won't occupy you forever. You can only try to keep it in a special place in your heart.

Kinda. As stated some comments ago, Elfen Lied is over 12 years old by now and only got a single season. The show isn't gaining much fans anymore. And the existing fans are moving forward eventually.

You're right, rouce. But I was just wondering how large this group became and nobody ever speaks up. Even its just sharing this toughts to elfenlied and why like it so much. To me, elfenlied was my first anime so it will be always special to me. Meanwhile I've seen like 40 other animes (not much but at least something) which I all bought and took place in my collection. But elfenlied is still one of my favorites for so many reasons. I guess I felt in love with the characters and their story...

Wow...almost a half year without anyone posting a comment here? this is almost scary... then I speak up and say that I've ordered elfenlied bluray complete "collector's edition" on amazon... I received it today and don't regret the purchase, even it's not the one in steel box... I already had it on DVD but because it's so an awesome series, I don't care having it 2 times now :D
