I know it's been years and much has happened since we last played Verdun back in 2016 but because Isonzo is coming up on the 13th of September and I intend to play it I was reminded of this awesome clan that used to be. I thank you Silas for your thoughts on Chirpy. He was a fun loving player who never crossed anyone, and was full of cheer and good times. There are a number of players around, with additional servers it's a little confusing, but you can definitely find RDM matches with over 5 people. I was mostly retired for 2 years, and have experienced considerable activity in the past 6 months.

As always, it's great to hear from you guys and to know everybody is doing alright. I hope someday maybe some of us can get together and do some RDM's, catch up, and just have a good time. Stay safe out there everybody, I give you my best wishes.

I miss Chirpy too man. I definitely didn't know him for as long as a lot of you guys did as you all have been members for much longer than me. But I played with Chirpy a few times and I will remember those moments. He will always be missed, and remembered.

Many stepped up to the plate. I am very proud of you Doodle. A few of his friends played a bit of Verdun, and I got know more about him. I miss him very much.

Chirpy will be remembered fondly. A few of us sent some flowers and nice words.

Hey Sgt. Rock! {1E} is about excellence. As the game's population winded down, we became less active, and there are always so many games coming out, to go try out. Hello. Most {1E} members I have seen or talked to appear to be okay. The clan is inactive but because of the influx of Epic players, Verdun seems to be doing good.

Unfotunately yes. There doesnt seem to be a push towards any significant activity so I am leaving for more active waters. I truly did enjoy my time in this clan and respect all of you. I still consider you all my friends but must say goodbye.

Ok, I've managed to get Steam to finally update and now I can play Verdun and other Steam games, yay!

Restart, update, report, repeat.

Update, this only seems to happen on my PC, but on my sister's lap top all games work fine and I able to update.

Sorry to let you guys know, but I cannot play Verdun, or any Steam games for that matter until further notice. When I try to update a game it, Steam says it's updating but in reality it is not, this causes them to become unplayable. I searched around the internet for answears but couldn't find any that worked. If you have any advice I'd love to hear it. Thank you and once again, sorry.
