"After endless days of research, we've finally discovered the true potential of the artifacts, and the reason the aliens crave them...

A very large meteor shower has been detected and is heading towards Earth.The size and density of the shower is sure to wipe out anything in it's path. This must be why the aliens are fighting for these artifacts... Their planet must be in danger as well.

From what we know, it seems like the artifacts can generate a force field large enough to cover the entire planet. Though to do this, the 4 artifacts will need to be spread out across different parts of the Earth.

Although we initially planned on giving the artifacts back to the aliens... Their value is now much too high, as they are our only chance of survival. We must fight to keep them within our possession. Even if it means war, even if it means the extinction of the alien race... We must survive."
