update - had to re-edit donkey kong animated screen to conform with new .vtf limit imposed by valve

removed particles that were killing fps in kitchen
added more melee and firearm spawn locations
made lighting in building with fishtank a little brighter

added/replaced a few textures,
added tapper arcade,
added sounds to arcade machines,
changed lighting over bar,
added .rad lighting to neon trim,
added more neon trim,
changed sounds from .wav to mp3,
func_detailed a few more brushes

gamebanana kbar2 is now up-to-date like the workshop...l4dmaps will be updated later

updated only workshop edit of kbar2. i want to make sure there are no new issues before releasing on l4dmaps and gamebanana.

fixed window exploit found by doktor haus and added some critters

added trim detail to aquarium and also some animated fish, added smokey-haze to kitchen and steam to warehouse vents...and now the big xbox is destructible.
constructive feedback would be appreciated so i can make further improvements/refinements

had technical issues slow down my progress recently. but i was able to add soundscape, replaced mirrors with more neon, make some custom sprites, and add a few more props.

there is a strong possibility that i will be removing functioning mirrors on final...they are performance hogs.

ive reworked fade scale and skybox, this has improved performance.
mirrors are still biggest drag ...fade scale now removes them when out of bar for smoother fps.

map functions, but i have a few more things to fix/add. optimization is going to be biggest hurdle (it lags in certain areas a bit on my pc)...im new to mapping and lack the experience and finesse of a seasoned developer...this is reason for delay.....sorry

A kitchen is currently being worked on to add more places to hold out and defend from.
Although it's mostly so the bar theme is a bit more complete.

KBar Origins - i started this map 3 years ago for l4d1 as a test field for mapping (i quit to make texture mods) it currently has - a tunnel enterance, gas station, bar, warehouse, and office bldg. a few friends thought it might be worth salvaging as coop or survival map, so ive been trying to whip it into shape. i still have more details to add and some optimizing to do before ill make a public release. most of the custom textures were made 3 years ago (some are good ..some ive had to replace)..ive also made some new custom props/model and textures for the final edit. my map uses 3 or 4 textures from tophattwaffles realworld pack (a very worthy dl for any mapper) the jukebox has 1 song at this time...i may add 3 tracks and have it randomize selection.....maybe. map is currently 122MB with all the custom /textures/models/sounds.
if all goes well, it should be out this december
