Kinda surprised there is a tiny community for a game not even on steam.

This game just started working for me, I thought I deleted everything as I gave up long ago, but I guess mine works, my joy stick I got for this game originally back in 2000 still works just as good as the day I used it to play this game the first time.

I even have the tng mod working, I'm surprised it didn't come with the voyager ship though.

KA is considered abandonware, so no chance for a steam client.

No no remake of KA.. It come out about same time as windows xp.. But did not run so well on xp as it was a win9x game.

seems like KA refuses to die even after all these years, i used to run the Af / AFS fleet all the way untill the Gamespy hub was nearing empty.

there has never been a game which came close to replacing KA....and yet there is a market for such a game when you have games like EVE online which is very harsh on noobs and takes time and effort to learn, but what KA does well, it doesnt do at all or does poorly.
