Owning a copy of Half-Life 2 is not required to play virtually all other Source engine titles.
I'm sure the community can help you out if there is not a convenient steam store in your country.

@Frisa: Certainly do! I don't have it currently installed but I don't mind hopping back into it. I played heavily during my high school years ('06-'07), in fact, I played BG2 the most out of any hl2 mod at the time.

All those [APG] serverrs are hosted and powered by myself. HLStatsX have ranked almost all HL1/HL2 servers for [APG].

I have some friends that play the first two and know some people in the 3rd Marines Community for WWI: Source, however, WWI: Source has just recently been reconstituted into a Day of Infamy Workshop mod called Screaming Eagles . Don't forget to join their steam group to get their latest updates :2016gameingame:
