Hi! What are the odds of getting a flatpak version of Odamex?
I was surprised how easy it is to get Crispy Doom running on the Steam Deck via a flatpak that was listed on Discover. But I immediately thought how awesome a Steam Deck LAN party with Odamex would be. Alas it's not in that appstore.

Hi KValda. Download the pwad you want to play and put it in your odamex folder. Then go into the Odamex console and type "wad nameofwad.wad" and it should load. More commands can be found on the doom wiki https://doomwiki.org/wiki/PWAD and if you need more detail feel free to ask on Discord.

It's been awhile since I've played Doom online with Odamex. This past week found some people playing co-op three times. Had a really great time playing co-op Doom. :)

Congrats to Dev and Jkist for (expectedly) dominating the Doom 2 tourney at QuakeCon 2013. We look forward to seeing them play against one another (as if we haven't seen them do it a million times since CSDoom, circa 1998).

Glad you enjoy it! Feel free to join our IRC network on quakenet to find more players to play games with. We can't be in the servers all the time but if you ask for a game on IRC someone is likely to respond.

Just want to say thanks for the weekly events, don't know if I can play each week, but it's nice to get some multiplayer Doom in. Usually I mostly play co-op with friends using Chocolate Doom, but I like Odamex for general multiplayer.

You can also do this for pwads. Example: wad doom2.wad av.wad av.deh

oh i thinx i sorted it now.. typ wad doom.wad in console command :)

thanx.. this is great.. but i only seem to be able to get doom 2 on single play as well as the servers. but how do i get to load doom 1. doom tnt. and other wads.. i installed odamex on my other comp and can load the dooms sepretly as all doom wads are in sepret folders. but on my main comp i try to load sepret wads in the same way as my other comp but odamex only loads doom 2.. im thinking it must be cos odamex is finding the wads automaticly some how. im lost. i can still play the other dooms but through steam and a difrent doom engine. but i would like to play them throught odamex aswell. cos im just fussy like that.. any help??
