If you ever want a copy of Shadowrun for pc sadly they don't sell them new anymore unless you check eBay or Amazon. However, you can buy used copies online from eBay and Amazon. However, be warned that you'll need to make sure they come with a valid CD key as you need to in order to play it online with other people. If you need a solution it issues with a game like the pink screen a fix does exist. I hope this was helpful and I hope to see more of you on this fun classic which was underrated in my opinion.

Ok Fallow up i have found the fix for the Screen being Pink its comming form Nvidea Cards 770Gtx and up it cause the screen to overbright and its does a pink effect so you canot see anything so i gay made a fix for that https://www.reddit.com/r/shadowrunfps/comments/4lh1fa/pink_screen_issue/ fallow link and download and install in directory and it fix it NOW i can play Shadowrun Online with Windows 10 and even if Windows Live does not work Online service are there just dont log into your Windowslive but in game it will log in ITS realy working i have a Real Dvd of Shadowrun with serial and game work perfectly with Nvidea 770GTX and Windows 10 Latest

I ma very suprise i am Windows 10 aniversary edition and i juste install Shadowrun to see if i can stil play it and the answer is YES i can install it ask for live for Windows so install it knowing that it does not work in windows 10 and Boom it install like a charm no special instruction so i was amaze that it stil install so decided to see if onlin works and i know servers most be off and.... Datah Peoples are online not a lots but some so i was able to lay online wiht my registerd version of Shadowrun ITS works so play it :)

Only problem i have an Nvidea 770GTX and when in game my screen is kinda red i see stuff but all is fade and redish so its must be a setting that would fix it so if you have any idee so tell me i so wana plys it again since now i can :)

Anyone that's had problems in the past getting this game to work, did you guys find solutions to your problems? Just wondering what works, so I can tell other people if they have similar problems.

I have resorted to using my Steam GFWL CD Keys, and they don't work either. I don't understand, I have never used these keys before either.

What did you guys do to get pass the cd key screen? I have proper cd keys but they wont work.

I've heard that if you buy it used, you can use someone else's key to activate it (or the one that comes with it), and it will still work. I called customer support once and they said activation keys actually have unlimited number of uses. I think there might be a 'cooldown' on using them though.

I have the proper CD key to this game but it keeps saying that it is invalid product key. Why? It's supposed to work. Also I tried the "Activation by Telephone" guide but ♥♥♥♥ doesn't work either, it says the installation ID is not recognized in their database.

I still remember going to BlockBuster to rent this game almost every week for a good month...and I always hoped they would somehow re-release this game. After finding this steam group, I quickly placed an order on Amazon for a PC version of the game.

Just redownloaded the game for the first time in ages, great game still. Currently limited to kb+m so the menus and movement is a bit wonky. Getting my wireless adapter for controller soon. Still went I think 10-2 and 21-3 in the few games I played though.

For the record, GFWL is only done for it's marketplace.
IF you have a game key or if you owned items from the original marketplace, then you can still use the GFWL service. It's gonna be around for an indefinite amount of time.

Unfortunately there are some hoops to jump through for some people to get the service to work for them, but it does work the last I tried.

That is of course unless something has changed again . . . O.o
