The SOCOM Source mod that was on Insurgency originally is no longer up. Apparently there are others ones up but no one knows who runs them so join them at your own risk. The MOD you have been seeing is for TaskForce. It's been a lot of fun to play to say the least.

Just signed up to be a tester! Can't wait to be playing SOCOM again. It was so good its ruined every other shooter for me since. Because nothing is even close to as amazing as SOCOM 1&2 were.

Hey Remedy, SOCOM Source is more of a community for the SOCOM player base now.. Right the main titles we are trying to suppoer are Task Force and H-Hour. But any game similar to SOCOM will do as we all just want a good replacement.

It was a very abrupt end. The last I had heard was that new maps were still being worked on. Next thing you know, the mod is shut down. Disappointing to see it end that way.
