Why don't you try out Aliens vs Predator 2000, its the one from 1999 rereleased to work with modern gaming systems, and its pretty fun if you ask me.

If this group is about any old game, regardless of system, then i'd recommend Kula World for the Playstation. A simple, yet addicting puzzle game starring a beach ball that has to go trough floating mazes made of blocks.

I think Company of Heroes 1 deserves this list. I've been getting a ton of play with it using the Blitzkrieg mod which adds a lot of extra content and realism

I recommend the Unreal series and also the Thief and FEAR series. These were all outstanding games that were head and shoulders above the others in their time.
