Mafia 2 is one of those games that looks better in memory than it actually plays. The story is genuinely decent – Vito's rise through the criminal underworld of the 50s and 60s has atmosphere, and the cutscenes carry more weight than the gameplay itself. If you're here for a linear crime drama, you'll get through it fine.
But let's be honest: the open world is basically a loading screen with traffic. Empire Bay looks the part and the period-accurate radio stations are a nice touch, but there's almost nothing to do outside of missions. No side content worth mentioning, NPCs that exist purely as decoration, and a map that feels like a lot of wasted potential.
The shooting is functional at best. Cover mechanics work, gunfights get the job done, but nothing here will surprise you. The game is also shorter than it has any right to be, and just when it starts finding its footing, the credits roll.
It's not bad. It's just... fine. A competent, forgettable experience held together by a story that could've been a movie – and probably should have been.
Skip at full price. If it's on sale for a few bucks, sure – it's a decent weekend distraction. Just don't expect a hidden gem.

Didn't expect much going in, but Expedition 33 won me over fairly quickly.

The combat feels genuinely engaging — parrying and dodging in real time keeps fights interesting throughout, even in longer encounters. The world has a distinct visual style, somewhere between surrealism and Belle Époque, which makes it stand out. The story deals with loss and sacrifice and handles those themes with more care than most games bother to.

It's not a perfect game, but it's a very good one. Worth your time if you enjoy story-driven RPGs.

Forefront delivers exactly what VR shooters should aim for: real immersion.

Large-scale battles feel intense and alive, with tanks, helicopters, and infantry all sharing the battlefield. The gunplay feels solid, movement is intuitive, and the chaos pulls you right into the action.

Teamplay is where the game really shines. Coordinated pushes and objective play feel incredibly satisfying and uniquely VR.

It runs well for its scale, and it’s clear the developers are committed to improving it.
If you want a true large-scale multiplayer shooter in VR, Forefront VR is an easy recommendation.

Half-Life: Alyx is not just a great VR game — it’s a reminder of why Half-Life matters at all.

The atmosphere is incredible. City 17 feels alive, oppressive, and detailed in a way that only works because you’re inside it. Every room tells a story, every sound makes you pause, and every encounter feels deliberate. This is VR used as a storytelling tool, not a gimmick.

The gameplay is tight and intuitive. Interactions feel natural, gunplay is satisfying, and the gravity gloves are one of those mechanics that instantly feel iconic. Combat is tense without being overwhelming, and exploration rewards curiosity constantly.

What really stands out is the polish. Animations, sound design, physics, pacing. Everything feels carefully crafted. Even small moments, like rummaging through drawers or reloading under pressure, add to the immersion instead of breaking it.

Half-Life: Alyx sets the benchmark for what VR games can be. If you own a VR headset and skip this, you’re missing a defining experience.

Pavlov VR is a solid VR shooter that feels very similar to Counter-Strike, just in virtual reality. The gun mechanics work well, and the gameplay is straightforward and enjoyable, especially if you like tactical shooters.

The game also offers a good selection of mods and custom maps, which keeps things interesting and adds variety beyond the standard modes.

One downside is that the player count can be a bit low at times, so it may take a while to find matches in certain modes. Still, when you do get into a game, it’s generally a fun and engaging experience.

Overall, Pavlov VR is a good choice for anyone looking for a CS-style shooter in VR, with enough content and flexibility to keep you entertained.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆

Mafia: Definitive Edition delivers around 10 hours of a well-told, engaging story that keeps you hooked from start to finish. The atmosphere and storytelling are top-notch, and the graphics update is a great improvement over the classic version. The only downside is that the controls can feel a bit clunky at times — but overall, it’s a fantastic remake worth playing.

Deep Rock Galactic is an absolute gem of a co-op experience. Whether you're diving deep into bug-infested caves with friends or braving the darkness solo with your trusty drone, every mission is a thrilling mix of teamwork, chaos, and discovery.

The class system is well-balanced, each dwarf bringing something unique to the team. Gunner holding the line, Scout lighting the way, Engineer building the defenses, and Driller carving the path—it's a perfect symphony of dwarven efficiency.

The developers keep the game fresh with regular updates, seasonal content, and a strong sense of community involvement. The atmosphere is immersive, the voice lines are hilarious, and the moment you all shout "Rock and Stone!" in unison… pure magic.

If you enjoy co-op games with great replayability, satisfying progression, and a whole lot of beer and explosions—this is it.

10/10 would mine again. Rock and Stone!

Nettes Game für zwischendurch, nur für Endgame fehlt der Content. Dennoch kann ich es für diesen Preis sehr empfehlen.
