This game is VERY OVERATED. The ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gun play, map, and npc behavior is blinded by the somewhat decent story. Ig people will call anything a "good" story if there is 200hrs of yap.

Lowkey a good Fallout game when you don't have a cringe New Vegas fan breathing down your neck. No Fallout 1st is NOT a need to play this game, and I didn't purchase it until 300hrs ish into the game. If you are in need for storage for junk, ammo, etc. Just purchase it for a month and pay the 13 bucks and suck it up. It's a era of charging for everything. Besides that the map is my favorite part and with the mixture of the camp building almost wherever you want its perfect. You can make a ton of different character builds for your needs and how you like to play. The story is mid yes and just like Fallout 4. Your choices don't matter. This game has one of the best player bases ever, everyone is trying to help each other and not just screw each other over for loot. I would say this game is somewhat cleaned off major bugs, and runs pretty smoothly. If you enjoy games like Destiny you prob would enjoy this game too. That phase where I understood the game and just grinded to get the perfect rolls for my guns and armor was prob the most fun I ever had in a game in a while. I know first impressions are important, but just like your ex. It never hurts to go back for sum fun!
