Regarding the discussion about camping, there's a specific perk for the hooked survivor, which pauses the hook timer for ~34 seconds, if one of the survivors gets within 16 meters of the hooked survivor (the survivor doesn't have to remain or stand there, passing by those 16 meters is good enough for the perk to activate), known as Camaraderie, Steve's teachable perk.
It'll be renamed to Kinship in the next Chapter or in the mid-Chapter; Resp. with the departure of the Stranger Things Chapter.
