An absolute masterpiece of a graphic novel condensed into a video game format, amazingly cinematic, heartwarming, and thought out. This game helped me in a dark time and changed me for the better as a person. A story of adventure, love, danger, tragedy and hope. It perfectly encapsulates the premise of an unlikely couple getting by against the odds, a relationship of loyalty, warmth and happiness. The two of them against the world until the very end. Two creatures of completely different backgrounds falling madly in love and developing it through a crisis, making it out the other end better than when it started like a phoenix rising through the ashes. With himself watching as everything he knows get ripped away from him akin to a piece of paper in the wind, and she, she keeps him safe and supports him, promising to never let go. In a way it symbolises the way a mama bear would protect her cub. Shun furries all you want but damn is this one hell of a story, a slow start into a dilemma, a pandemic if you will, throw a bit of romance in the middle, ultimately fail to resolve the disaster that happens, which only causes more character development. You want to know precisely what I'm referring to? Buy the game and play it, no spoilers here. YOU, yes, YOU reading truly have to be there to experience it. The ending is sweet, leaving us with an amazing visual and leaving it open for more content to come.









Speaking of come, the 18+ dlc is of absolutely terrific quality, extremely goonworthy for all you lonely bastards out there.
