too much voice acting, all of it mediocre at best. Also there's a -british- VA, be warned he sounds awful.
guns kick WAY too much, and the pistol was the only precision weapon in a LARGE arena
voice filters on all friendly players make the story nigh unhearable
weird mix of new and old models and textures
even worse voice acting at times
pacing is all over the place. go from arena fight to psychotic episode to terrible wheatly stand-in
everybody has glowing colors. Why?
Hope you like sitting there watching nothing happen while people remind you that you're not the good guy or something. I could've taken several bathroom breaks while waiting for nothing to happen.
Major incongruities with HL2 story that take me out of the already barely workable story.
This game has a "Jeff" section. Died once then stopped playing. Only cool thing about it is the fact that it's a monster from OpFor, but "Jeff" has terrible AI and the last autosave sent me too far back.
spoiler warning you go into an Aperture Arctic Science ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Factory. Would be cooler if I didn't call it as soon as I saw assets I recognized from Portal 1. Wheatly stand-in takes up too much screen space when you're holding him.

TL;DR It's more of a fanfic than a love letter. Repetitive gameplay and Amateur writing meant I could only stomach it for an hour.
