This is one of the best RPGs I have ever played. The quest writing is just so good and even mundane quests have some twist to them. RPGs will definitely have to catch up to this quality in the future if they want to compete. It is also a lot more polished than the first game although I do miss having more attack directions. If you didn't like the first game then this probably won't win you over as it is still pretty unforgiving sometimes. My only gripe is sometimes during battles all your people will die or get knocked out and then it turns into an unwinnable 1v15. On the bright side when you die and reload it doesn't usually happen a second time. Definitely my game of the year 2025.
