The majority of multiplayer games that are reliant on teammates are horrible. The fact that the majority of multiplayers now are some form of a team based game is reason enough why the industry is dead and single player games are thriving. Marvel Rivals, Deadlock, Overwatch all are examples of what happens when you take a mechanically fun game and ruin it through matchmaking with others. If I can lose a game regardless of how well I do based on someone else's faults, then the game is GARBAGE!

Now throwing the fact that people abuse this and queue together as a stack and the game matches them with others who are solo queued and the game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over before you even hit the start button. The fun goes out the window and the player base leaves as a result. I am genuinely praying on the death of the multiplayer industry, and you know what is the funniest part? It was the players and developers themselves that killed the game. Good riddance!
