After completing the story, i am still amazed by the game. The graphics are breathtaking, and the gameplay is just as impressive. You are constantly trying to prevent some kind of shortage or disaster, which keeps the tension high. As you expand your city, you also have to manage the competing interests of various factions. Depending on the choices you make, different buildings get unlocked, so you can approach the game in different ways.

The story and map are being continued from the first game, which they did pretty good. You can revisit cities like Winterhome, build outposts like Hot Spring or Outpost 11 and so on

The UI is well-designed, and you’re constantly getting messages from your citizens, telling you about their problems — or that they want to sacrifice themselves so there’s enough food for everyone after people feed on their corpse (emotional rollercoaster). The soundtrack is just as good as it was in the first game, now i am ready to play the game on 100%. The achievemets are, compared to the first game, pretty fair. You now only have to play the story on highest difficulty instead of everything on survivor mode, and they are in general less specific
