Audio design is great. Dialogue is great (at least for the Mechanicus, haven't played necron campaign yet). No performance issues here, haven't had any crashes or stutters so far, running on high settings.

Overall gameplay loop seems to have been simplified, linear exploration of tombs and you can only bring one magos, so combat options are more limited compared to the first, and missions overall play out faster. Vigilance mechanic is scoped to the single mission instead of a global meter that builds up over the missions as it was previously.

Customization options have changed, players have the options of spending archeotech to upgrade their leaders and retinue and unlock more options, as well as augmentation points to enhance the leaders. Each leader is essentially a distinct class, and the augmentation points allow you to upgrade various components of their build. Appearances do not seem to be customizable. Having done a mission with each, they each play differently, and warrant different strategies to go through the mission. So far its been pretty fun.

Arguably the best roguelite deckbuilder currently out on the market. Replayability is through the roof, with the amount of combinations available to you when starting a run, the most I've seen in a roguelite

Early Access Review
Great innovative game, if you want a relaxing RTS base builder with rogue-lite mechanics. No combat to be found here, just you managing your villagers resources and morale in different procedural environments as you try to set up new villages. You control the flow of time, so you can play the game at your own pace, pause or slow-mo if needed, or triple speed when things are going well. Sessions end when you've appeased the Queen by gaining enough Reputation, either by ensuring your villagers are happy, or by fulfilling various events and requests offered throughout the session.

Meta-progression between sessions, relates to improving things like production speed, bringing different starting resources in later runs and, unlocking various bonuses you can claim in sessions, which may affect things like woodcutting speed, or grant you X resource whenever you produce Y resource.

Active development with regular posts, indicate a care for the product. There have been quite a few tweaks and a couple of overhauls regarding some features during early access. New features are being added in as well. Looking forward to how this game will be, by the time it leaves Early access. Would love to see a couple more races included (Frogs?).

Having played this game to death, I think my hours speak more to my enjoyment of the game than I possibly could.
Go through the base game. For each faction. For each legendary lord. Get a DLC faction as well if you wish for more. Then get some mods and go through it again. And again. The replayability in this game is only getting better, with the recent introduction of map packs for settlements in Steam Workshop.

One may argue on the whether the DLC pricing is too costly, but of course, one may also be a filthy heretic in need of purging. It's all a matter of perspective.

If you're a Warhammer fan, you probably already own the game. If you don't do. This is something you need to experience.
