Its a very complex game that restarts every few months with new challenges and you have to build you character each time to meet these challenges usually using new game-play rules. While it is completely free you will eventually need a few Quality of Life upgrades. You can get away with the 20$ bundle and get a Map and Currency tab while they are on sale (about once a month)

you can easily scale difficulty by joining challenge leagues that have varying self imposed limitations. Like "Solo" only and "Hardcore" where you only die once.

it was cheap and its fun to play. Good time waster with a decent progressive story and a bit of grinding.
