I really want to like this game. The core idea is great and has a lot of potential. However, there are several issues that significantly hurt my overall experience:

• Performance on planets is poor. As soon as you leave your ship, the framerate can drop to around 20–30 FPS (1440p).
  
• Resource distribution (iron, copper, etc.) feels unbalanced. To gather certain materials, you often have to make multiple jumps between star systems or even entire sectors. In the best case it's around three jumps, in the worst case well over ten.
  
• You need external tools to have an overview about resource distribution, e.g. which resources are available in each star system.
  
• The early game is very tedious and grind-heavy, requiring a disproportionate amount of time and resources.

The foundation for a great game is definitely there, but right now too many aspects feel unnecessarily slow and frustrating.

Performance is not good but not as bad as people say. When using an Upscaler and limit FPS it runs smooth. No crashes so far.

Borderlands 4 is fun so far and I don't regret buying it. There are lots of hours incoming :)

Give them some time to polish the performance aspects a bit and it will be a great Borderlands experience.

I'll play it later, just bought it to support Egosoft. Keep up the good work!
It was a rough start for X4 but the updates added a lot of value.

The basic gameplay idea is pretty nice.
Pretty frustrating as a beginner, getting one-shot a lot.
There are a lot of performance issues though, running on 1440p medium details (Ryzen 7 5800X, RTX 3080).

Die Anfangszeit war holprig aber die Entwickler von Hello Games haben ihr Baby nicht aufgegeben. Zum Glück! Die Updates machen das Spiel immer besser und es wird neuer Content erstellt.

Totally worth it.

It has potential, graphics are kinda nice.

But TF2 runs very bad on my system with GTX 1080 / Ryzen 5 2600X. A lot of stuttering / hick-ups when zooming in or following a train.

Für zwischendurch ganz witzig.

Terrible Performance issues w/ reduced details and some INI tweaks. Even worse without tweaks.
Runs at 40 fps on a GTX 1080 at 1080p.
