It's SMITE 1, except everything is worse.

Aspects make the game unplayable for new players. It's too much to learn and the aspects tend to be completely unbalanced and unfair for most matchups.

The lag and stuttering is HORRIBLE on Windows or Linux. The game just runs like crap and costs you many fights all the time. Something that was not an issue in SMITE 1.

Hi-Rez have proven time and time again that they are utterely incompetent. They survive by selling skins, but we have bugs from SMITE 1 that plagued us like skin selection not working on the lobby screen - but this is supposed to be a total rewrite? You would have been better off sticking with the original SMITE game. FAR better off. Imagine where you would be without all this wasted effort.

Moderation is challenging for me to accept. I watch cheaters fly down the lane, teleport wherever they need to, drop the N bomb, intentionally feed over and over again: but alas, I'm the one who gets banned for having a moment of rage after 5 games of trolls or teammates with no eyes, ears or hands IRL.
This type of toxic moderation seeps into other communities related to SMITE: Twitch, Reddit, Support. Everyone related to this game is genuinely horrible to interact with.

The only satisfaction I get from this game now;
1. Watching the player base dwindle to the point of stale players. It's in a death spiral now.
2. VB*click* your teammate who is being toxic. "Enemy spotted" VGS at their feet. 25% chance they will instantly rage quit and turn into a feeding bot, jumping into the enemy.
