I interpreted "insult thinly veiled as praise" as "It's actually an insult beneath a thin veil of praise" rather than "it's actually praise that's meant to look like an insult on the surface". I do have abysmal wit and have no venom toward you, I just thought you had a good perspective with valid criticisms - it's at least a perspective that I somewhat share. While I wouldn't present the information the same way, I was a little surprised to see someone present more nuance in the format. It's consistent through some of your other reviews, so I mean to give genuine praise.

I tried to read the kind of person you were and wasn't successful, so my comment didn't land how I wanted it to. Sorry about that. I wanted to play on the vague stigmatization given to the title "video game reviewer," the position that's nowadays associated with yellow paint on rocks to tell you where to go.

You know, I'd even take you up on the offer, except my goofy arse literally just 2 minutes ago (as of writing this part of the message) found it right on top of the Igenous's Dungeon portal in the Desert. No idea how I ended up dying there, since I was trying to rade the hive for halloweed bags and then returning to my base, but the death icon ended up getting obscured by the portal icon (them being in the same exact place) so I couldn't see it on the map.

I'm quite grateful for the offer, but I don't think my main issue can be handled by another player's generosity, as I don't remember everything that I lost. I can make a new boat, but there might have been much more important things I just can't recall, and I'll be bleeding out my eyesockets 5-10 hours later trying to figure out if they were in my lost tombstone or if they are currently in one of my 70 unorganized chests.
